Banyuhay Aotearoa trustees were fortunate to be invited to Meet and Greet sessions with our new Philippine Ambassador H.E. Kira Christianne D. Azucena. We are also grateful to meet other community leaders from other organisations and the Philippine Embassy staff members.
The events were held at Wellington (6th July) and Auckland (10th July).
It's great to know that our organisation's objectives also align with the Philippine Embassy's priorities. Those are: - supporting Filipino migrants; and - promoting our culture, language and history here in New Zealand.
We are looking forward to partnering with the Philippine Embassy and supporting each other's initiatives that are related to these.
